I am Associate Professor of Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Prior to UMass, I held postdoctoral fellowships at Columbia University and Northwestern University.
I received my PhD in History and Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan. I also have a Masters degree in Political Economy from Carleton University.
When not doing academic things, I enjoy Peloton-ing, tai chi, what I’ll call aspirational swimming, and escaping into sitcoms, sketch comedy, and podcasts. I am the grateful parent of two children. I also care for three dogs, one cat, and too many chickens.
